Sherianna Johnson is an African American accountant, author, and founder of Donye’s Accounting, from Augusta, Georgia. Born in Fort Stewart, GA and raised in a military family, she discovered her passion for finance early—taking business courses in high school and mastering money management as a child. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Clark Atlanta University and a master’s from Keller Graduate School of Management. Through her books and business, Sherianna empowers people of color and business owners to take control of their finances with clarity and confidence. Her work blends practical tools with plain-language education, including her glossary, Accounting Made Simple: 50 Terms Every Business Owner Should Know. She’s also the creator of Road to Good Financial Health and Wealth and Financial Planner, both designed to simplify budgeting and build financial literacy. When she’s not creating resources or supporting small businesses, she enjoys horror movies, chocolate, and traveling.
